The leather will develop a patina with wear, softening gradually at the flex points while holding its structure at the counter and toe.
Constructed using the Blake stitch method, which keeps the sole profile lean and the break responsive from the first wear. The sole, insole, heel and lining are all leather throughout. Each pair is made at Andrew McDonald's workroom in The Strand Arcade, Sydney, and can be fitted with an optional rubber top piece for added sole durability. The rear zip uses a multicoloured YKK brass-toothed fastening — a considered detail on an otherwise spare boot.
