A clean-lined zip back boot with an edge that comes from restraint rather than ornament — the multicoloured YKK Excella brass-toothed zip at the rear does the talking, quietly.
The upper is cut from smooth calf leather, supple and close-grained, developing a natural patina with wear. Blake stitched through a all-leather double sole, this boot is made at Andrew McDonald's workshop and available through The Strand Arcade, Sydney. The method keeps the profile lean and the feel close to the ground — a construction suited to a boot intended to be worn seriously and for a long time.
