The Two Piece Boot is a study in restraint — a tall silhouette resolved in two tones of the same hide, where the contrast comes not from colour but from the surface itself.

Upper and shaft are built from shell cordovan and reverse shell cordovan, both in black. Shell cordovan is a dense, non-porous leather taken from the fibrous flat muscle beneath the rump of the horse; it resists creasing in the characteristic horizontal folds of lesser leathers, developing instead a deep, burnished patina that intensifies with wear. The reverse face — unmistakably matte and slightly napped — sits against the shell's characteristic lustre, giving the boot its quiet visual tension without ornament.
