A derby boot with an open lacing and a quietly authoritative presence. The silhouette is clean and upright — a boot that reads as formal without announcing itself.

The upper is cut from suede bison, a hide with a coarser, more open nap than calf suede, which gives it a subtle textural depth and a relaxed, lived-in quality from the first wear. It softens and conforms over time, developing a character that smoother leathers rarely achieve.

Blake stitched to a chestnut vegetable-tanned double leather sole, with a full leather insole, heel block, stiffeners, and lining throughout. Blake construction keeps the profile lean and the break natural underfoot. Made by hand at The Strand Arcade in Sydney, with a rubber top piece available as an option for added sole protection.
